I hold a degree in Tourism and a master’s in Tourism Management and Planning from the University of Málaga, and I have travelled all over Europe. Today I work as an SEO consultant in Málaga, Spain, and I write every page on naveguia. My day job is making sure search engines and AI assistants understand and cite a website correctly, and that has taught me to handle facts with great care. A price copied wrong or opening hours from two years ago do more harm than a page that does not exist.

naveguia grew out of that habit. I wanted a guide to Europe that did not stop at the same ten sights, that went down to each neighbourhood and that said where every fact comes from. I start with the smallest country, Vatican City, and I do not move on until the previous one is complete.

How I research each guide

I start from each place’s official website, the body that runs it or the public tourist board. If a figure only appears in secondary sources, I either leave it out or say plainly that it is unconfirmed. Every page lists its sources at the end and shows the date its facts were checked.

To decide what to cover I look at what people actually search for. The FAQs in each guide come from real searches, not from what I happen to find interesting.

Each guide has a box with my advice. It is opinion and it is signed. The rest of the page aims to be as factual as possible.
